Worcester Warriors have made yet another signing with Jersey captain Scott van Breda heading to Sixways next season.
Worcester Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons has made yet another signing ahead of next season, with the captain of Championship side Jersey Reds, Scott van Breda, penning a one-year deal with the Midlands side.
The 26-year-old utility back is Solomons' sixth signing ahead of the 2018/19 season. The former Stormers man plays mainly at fullback but can also cover centre and fly-half.
The South African born back moved to the Northern Hemisphere last season, swapping the Western Province for Jersey in the Green King IPA Championship, where he has made ten appearances to date.
Van Breda said: "I’m excited to make the move to Sixways to try and test myself in the Premiership. I’ve worked with Alan Solomons before, he is a fantastic coach and I’m looking forward to linking up with him once again."
Warriors Director of Rugby Solomons added: "Scott is a versatile rugby player and a very good goal-kicker. It’s a great opportunity for him to test himself at the top level and I have no doubt he will be an asset to the side."
