Wasps have announced the signing of former Maori All-Blacks wing Ambrose Curtis ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The 26-year-old has impressed in the Mitre 10 Cup for Manawatu for the last three years after arriving from Wellington.
The 6ft4" 100kg wing also covers fullback and will be a valuable addition to Wasps' squad as they challenge for domestic and European glory.
Curtis represented New Zealand throughout the age grades as well as Sevens.
Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “We continually seek to strengthen our squad, and we believe Ambrose’s signing does exactly that.
“He has done well in New Zealand’s domestic competition and also for the Maori All Blacks.
“He will bring added physical presence to our back-line and I’m sure will offer plenty to the squad.”
Clearly eager for his new challenge in the Northern Hemisphere, Curtis said: "I am really excited to be joining Wasps next season, a club with great history and very talented players and coaches.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for me to develop as a rugby player and I intend to grasp the opportunity with both hands.
“I look forward to meeting my new team mates, working hard and giving my all for Wasps."
