Leicester Tigers stalwarts Matt Smith and Matthew Tait have signed new deals with the Midlands side.
The two Matts have extended their time at Leicester Tigers, with nearly 20 years between them with the former Premiership champions.
Tait has spent time at both fullback and centre during his time with Tigers while Smith has proved regularly reliable and a crucial aspect of Tigers' midfield options. The 32-year-old duo will continue to bring a high level of quality and experience to the side looking to reclaim domestic glory.
Tait commented on the news of his new contract earlier today: "I am delighted and excited to be able to agree a further contract at this great club for another year. I love playing at Welford Road in front of great supporters and look forward to continuing to play a part in the squad for the future"
Smith also spoke about his extension at the club: "It is no secret that I have always wanted to play for this club, it means a lot to me and I'm delighted to extend my career here beyond the end of the current season."
Leicester's Director of Rugby Matt O'Connor said: “Smithy and Taity have proved very valuable members of the squad over a number of years. They are very committed to the Tigers and they’re able to play in a number of different roles.
“They also both serve as excellent examples to younger players on and off the field here.”
