Bath prop Nick Auterac signs for Harlequins.
The 25-year-old will make the move from Bath to West London at the end of the current season after spending four years in the blue, black and white.
The Saracens Academy product has made 25 appearances for Bath with one try to his name to date and will look to take the next step in his career with Quins.
Director of Rugby John Kingston commented: "Nick is a highly respected and experienced Premiership loosehead prop. It is a position we already have strength in, but his arrival will ensure we have the necessary quality throughout the season in a key position.
“I know he has aspirations on the Representative front and I am sure with our quality coaching group advancing his game, he will be able to take his performances on to the next level at Harlequins."
The former England U20's prop will further strengthen the promising pool of frontrowers already at Quins. England props Joe Marler, Kyle Sinckler and Will Collier are already backed up by the up-and-coming Lewis Boyce after the 21-year-old was called up to the England squad earlier this year.
“I’m really excited about joining Harlequins,” said Auterac. “It’s a club I have always followed closely and the opportunity to work with John Kingston, Graham Rowntree and Adam Jones is something I am really looking forward to and cannot wait to get started.”
