Leicester Tigers backrow Luke Hamilton has signed for Pro14 side Edinburgh according to reports from Rugby Pass earlier today. The Scottish international made his Test debut last year and has gone on to feature in three Tests, including his first start during Scotland's loss to the USA last night.
Hamilton joined the Tigers from French side Agen in 2016 and went on to become an integral part of Leicester's Premiership campaign.
Born in Wales, but Scottish qualified through his father, Hamilton will look to pursue his test career in Scotland under the tutelage of former Tigers boss Richard Cockerill, who inspired Edinburgh in one of their best seasons to date in his first season in charge.
Able to play all across the backrow, Hamilton will undoubtedly be a significant asset to Edinburgh's title ambitions, with Scotland captain John Barclay also rejoining the province from former Pro12 champions Scarlets.
