Joe Cokanasiga signs with Bath on season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old Fijian-born wing is set to sign a one-year long loan with Bath following the confirmation of London Irish's relegation.
Cokanasiga had a clause in his contract with the Exiles that allowed him to leave the club should they be relegated for a second time in three seasons, one of which was spent in the Championship.
With Alex Lewington and Tom Woolstencroft heading to Saracens, Ben Franks signing for Northampton Saints and Johnny Williams putting pen to paper for Newcastle Falcons, Irish have begun efforts to avoid losing additional key players.
The Exiles expect to see further players leave the club on loan deals, enabling them to further their Premiership careers yet remain on Irish's books. Irish are following the example set by Falcons, who sent multiple players out on loan when relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2011/12 season.
