Worcester Warriors centre Ryan Mills will not play again this season.
Mills was forced from the field with an ankle injury during Worcester's Aviva Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers earlier this month.
Warriors' Director of Rugby Alan Solomons stated that it was 'very unlikely' the 25-year-old would play any further part in his side’s 2017/18 campaign.
Mills' absence will be significant for 11th placed Worcester, playing a significant role in their recent rise to form. The return of fit-again England centre Ben Te'o will go some way to keeping the Warriors on track, but will not be able to fill the second playmaker role Mills had been so excellently executing.
Relegation contenders London Irish currently sit 11 points behind the Warriors and have begun to pick up steam in the recent weeks. The relegation battle may begin to tighten in these last five rounds of the 17/18 Premiership season.
