After the unwelcome news yesterday that England trio Nick Isiekwe and Mako and Billy Vunipola are set for injury enforced sideline spells, Saracens have been dealt a further blow following the news that utility back Alex Lozowski has been charged with two offences during the London based side's Champions Cup victory over Glasgow Warriors yesterday (Sunday, 14th October)
Lozowski, 25, has been charged by Sunday's match citing commissioner, Tim Lowery, for dangerous entry to the ruck (contrary to law 9.20.) in the 15th minute of the European clash and a dangerous tackle (contrary to law 9.13.) in the 33rd minute.
The four-times-capped international's hearing will take place in London this evening (Tuesday, 16th October).
Toulouse and former All Black backrow Jerome Kaino has also been cited following a high challenge on Bath centre Jamie Roberts (contrary to law 9.12.), for which the New Zealander received a yellow card in the 39th minute at the Rec.
Kaino will attend his hearing in Paris tomorrow (Wednesday, 17th October).
Additionally, Kaino's teammate Lucas Pointud has also been cited following the French side's 20-22 victory in the West Country.
The prop is alleged to have struck opposite man, Nathan Catt, with his head in the 50th minute of the match in contravention of Law 9.12.
Pointud will also attend a hearing in Paris tomorrow.
Further citings have been handed out to Perpignan hooker Manu Leiataua and Lyon substitute second row Manuel Carizza. Both have been charged with striking oppontnets with their forearms, contrary to law 9.12.
