Leicester Tigers’ wing Nick Malouf has been cited for a dangerous tackle last weekend.
The Tigers substitute wing has been cited for an illegal hit on Wasps' Christian Wade during Leicester's victory at Welford Road last Sunday. See the challenge below.
Malouf was initially sanctioned with a yellow card and 10 minutes on the sidelines on the 20th minute of the Premiership clash by the match day referee Luke Pearce. Citing commissioner Paul Hull has since decided Malouf's challenge warrants further sanction.
The former Australian sevens winger will attend a hearing in Coventry at 7:30 pm later today. The panel will be chaired by John Brennan with Ruth Middleton and one other to be confirmed.
