England have confirmed that loosehead prop Mako Vunipola has left the touring squad for personal reasons agreed ahead of the trip to South Africa. The specific reasoning for Vunipola's departure has not be disclosed, with younger brother Billy remaining with the squad for the final Test in Cape Town next weekend.
Leicester Tigers prop Ellis Genge has also left the country after the worsening of a knee injury sustained in the first week in South Africa.
Exeter Chiefs' Alec Hepburn will fly out to join Eddie Jones' side in Cape Town tomorrow, expected to take a spot on the bench with Harlequins man Joe Marler returning to the starting lineup.
Jones will be looking to avoid a series whitewash at Newlands Stadium next weekend after going down 42-39 in the first Test in Johannesburg last Saturday and 23-12 earlier today.
