England have named their team to face Australia in the final Autumn International fixture at Twickenham this Saturday, in which old rivals Eddie Jones and Michael Cheika will go head-to-head for the sixth time since Jones took over as the England head coach.
Saracens hooker Jamie George retains the starting berth up front after featuring against Japan last weekend, while newly capped Bath winger Joe Cokanasiga replaces the injured pairing of Chris Ashton and Jack Nowell on the right wing. There is also a place for iconic centre Manu Tuilagi on the bench. The Samoan-born wrecking ball was originally named on the bench in the side to face South Africa earlier this month but withdrew prior to kick-off due to injury concerns. A victory for the Red Rose this weekend would see Jones's side sitting pretty with three wins from four during the November period, with one TMO call balanced on a knife's edge all that stood between themselves and another historic victory over the All Blacks.
England will host Australia at Twickenham this Saturday with a 3 pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports. This will be the first time the two teams meet since England claimed a 30-6 victory over twelve months ago, boasting a five-game winning streak over the Wallabies.
Australia head into the clash off the back of a resounding victory over Italy last weekend, a fixture in which head coach Cheika rung the changes in his backline, seeing Leicester Tigers' centre Matt Toomua step in at fly-half, whilst the nation's incumbent standoff, Bernard Foley, filled in at inside-centre in reversed roles. The Stadio Euganeo win also saw the return of 34-year-old utility back Adam Ashley-Cooper, who earned his 117th cap after a two-year Test hiatus.
