Ireland centre Chris Farrell looks set to miss the remainder of the 2018 Six Nations with a knee injury.
The Munster centre had a storming Six Nations debut against Wales last weekend, picking up a man of the match award for his efforts in Ireland's 37-27 victory over the Welsh.
Ireland have confirmed today that the 24-year-old centre twisted his knee at training (Tuesday 25th Feb) and looks likely to miss the remainder of the tournament. Farrell is the third outside centre to be ruled out through injury for Ireland, with Robbie Henshaw and Jared Payne both also unavailable.
Fit again Leinster centre Gary Ringrose looks set to replace Farrell in the 13 jersey.
