Eddie Jones has named a 27-man-squad to prepare for England's Six Nations match in France this weekend.
While Jack Nowell, Sam Underhill and Zach Mercer all drop from the squad following injury, Jones' side receives a boost from the return of fit again wing Elliot Daly and number eight Sam Simmonds.
James Haskell, Chris Robshaw and perhaps even Simmonds will contest the right to the seven jersey in Paris, while Courtney Lawes, Maro Itoje and Joe Launchbury all look to retain their squad spots in the scenario that Jones abandons his selection of three locks in his pack.
Denny Solomona continues to fight for a Six Nations debut following a first-half hat-trick against Northampton over the weekend, while Kyle Sinckler looks to take back the 18 jersey from Exeter tighthead Harry Williams following a neck issue to the latter.
Luke Cowan-Dickie enjoys a return to the squad after it was released earlier today that captain and starting hooker Dylan Hartley was struggling with calf tightness. Cowan-Dickie will hold out for a bench appearance behind British and Irish Lions starter Jamie George should Hartley fail to recover in time.
