Exeter Chiefs backrower Don Armand has been called up to the England squad to face Ireland at Twickenham.
Crashball Rugby are hearing reports that the fans favourite has been called up to England's squad to face Ireland at Twickenham next weekend. A significant turn of events if true.
After what has felt an eternity for fans and perhaps Armand himself, Eddie Jones has decided to include the Zimbabwean-born backrower in England's squad to face Ireland at Twickenham next weekend.
The utility backrower is equally as comfortable at flanker or number eight, able to flex his way through defenders as comfortably as he is able to show his pace and go around them.
Where Jones will include Armand in England's pack is yet to be seen, with a place open at number eight following the injury to Nathan Hughes and the possibility of shifting Chris Robshaw back to blindside and selecting Armand in the much coveted England seven jersey.
The official team announcement was made earlier today, including the 29-year-old.
