England number eight Billy Vunipola has joined older brother Mako in returning home ahead of the national side's final Test in Cape Town next weekend.
The Saracens backrow re-fractured his forearm during England's 23-12 defeat to the Springboks in Bloemfontein yesterday, leaving the field just seconds before half-time. Vunipola's replacement, Nathan Hughes, who saw yellow for an intentional slap down of the ball in Faf de Klerk's hands, is set to start for the first time this summer.
It was also confirmed yesterday that Tigers loosehead prop Ellis Genge had returned home after suffering a knee injury during England's first week in South Africa. Exeter Chiefs' prop Alec Hepburn will join up with the squad today and is expected to take a spot on the bench behind Joe Marler next week.
